In the solitary act of painting I dive deep into the dance. These moments are treasured; simultaneously, I feel the urge to collaborate with other artists. Together with Luc Reynaud, an incredible musician and dear friend, we ventured through Europe on the waves of spontaneous creativity in 2006. By “accident” we found musicians from around the globe and arranged live concerts in Berlin, Germany, Porto, Portugal and Grenoble, France. The Live interactive concerts emerged with a blank canvas at the start of every show is place in direct contact with the musicians, all pre-conceived ideas and notions left behind, and the moment begins to physically unveil itself into a tangible composition.
Ever since that life changing exploration, we haven’t stopped celebrating the unity between music and art. We dive into the exploration of multiple mediums on stage everywhere we go. With no time to analyze, the subconscious opens, vulnerable to the moment. The final product is not the focal point; the process of life is the masterpiece as the environment, audience and music collaborate in the transcendence of LIVE art. The music moves through my body, every note, and every brushstroke. When the music stops, the painting is finished. Perfection in the moment… gratitude for the opportunities of deep collaboration in a unified voice of freedom inside and out!
